Tara Gibson is senior manager of Underwriting for Coverys, formerly ProMutual Group, and is responsible for the development and implementation of underwriting strategies, programs, policies and procedures. Previously, Mrs. Gibson served as a manager in the Underwriting Department and was responsible for supervising and coordinating the solicitation, selection, pricing and retention of hospital and large group business. Prior, she was the product development manager for the company from 2000 to 2002 and led an interdepartmental development team in creating and revising products and policies.
Before joining Coverys, Mrs. Gibson underwrote and marketed fidelity bonds, directors’ and officers’ coverage and property casualty coverage from 1993 to 1998 for depository institutions and business accounts as an account underwriter for St. Paul Companies.
A graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, Mrs. Gibson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She holds designations as a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter, Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding. Additionally, Mrs. Gibson is a licensed Massachusetts Property and Casualty Broker and holds non-resident licenses throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.
