Richard DePiero

Richard G. DePiero is a Vice President and a member of the Technology, Network Risk & Telecommunications National Practice for the Financial and Professional Services (“FINPRO”) unit of Marsh. His current responsibilities include advising clients on issues related to professional liability, technology, privacy, and cyber related risks as well as negotiating with the carriers on terms and conditions. Additionally, Richard conducts detailed coverage analysis for clients and prospects from around the country giving him a broad view of the coverage being offered in today’s marketplace.  In addition to coverage analysis, Richard works on Marsh’s the more intricate placements that require a great deal of manuscripting and exposure analysis.

Prior to joining Marsh in April of 2007, Richard started his career at Electric Insurance (a GE subsidiary) where he worked for five years managing subrogation recovery as well as a catastrophic claims response team. 

Richard earned a B.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
