Megan McIntyre

Megan McIntyre is a Vice President of New York-based Transatlantic Reinsurance Company (TRC).  Prior to her arrival to TRC in 1997, Megan was a physician/surgeon underwriter for the Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company of New York.

Megan is the product line manager of physician professional liability treaty business within the Specialty Casualty Healthcare Department of Transatlantic Reinsurance Company, and is also responsible for a book of treaty business comprising physicians, surgeons, hospitals, managed care, miscellaneous facilities, and the life sciences.  Prior to this role, Megan managed the Healthcare, E&O, and D&O Facultative Department at TRC.  She has eighteen years’ experience in underwriting all professional liability lines, with a particular emphasis on the medical malpractice classes.

Megan received her B.S. in Finance from Siena College (Loudonville, NY), and also holds the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe).
